Well... Rajen is kinda right - the blog is kinda dying at the moment. Shall we start reviving it? Instead of uploading a photo of me playing Assassins Creed without my pants on, I'll upload a photo of when I was in New York with Nick Lee for New Years Eve 2010:

This was at a Couch Surfing party in Brooklyn - me and Nick had a drunken snow fight on the apartment rooftop after the countdown... and I somehow hit him in the eye in our drunkedness. He was trying to show the damage done. Fail.

It was good times indeed... I'm in the midst of sorting out all my USA photos - I'll upload them onto Facebook soon enough.

below is a corporate video i did last year for sime darby. traveled the whole malaysia to all sites and sime darby properties... it's farking awesommmmmmme!!! from pasir gudang where they built the oil rig platform in parts to Kempas where they extract essence from the palm tree to produce artificial sugar and flavors!!!!!!!
one of the best experience last year.

after that i ventured into the video side industry. there's Film shooting and Video shooting.
film is obviously using films and video is recording using either Digital Beta tapes or via hard disk storage.

this is the 1st video that i've produced and it went on air!!! of course all the ads went on air..but this is different... cuz it has my name at the end credits.awesome!!!
this is Gugu Gaga Erra. personnaly i think this reality show will be a platform or rather a bridge for future artist or production that wants to make a similar programme.well at least we are the 1st to do such programme.

this is tiger futbol starz. for this project i've again travel 8 states to do audition to get this players.so last year is pretty much is all about travelling. :)
and to top it all off..we've Peter Schmeichel to be our ambasaddor!! double awesome!!!!!!!

Pagi itu pagi minggu. Cuaca cukup sejuk sehingga mencapai takat suhu beku..
Sebab itu saya tidak mandi pagi sebab air kolah jadi air batu dan air paip
tidak mahu keluar sebab beku di dalam batang paip. Pagi itu saya bersarapan
dengan keluarga di dalam unggun api kerana tidak tahan sejuk. Selepas itu
emak saya mengajak saya menemaninya ke pasar. Tetapi saya tidak mahu.

Selepas emak menikam perut saya berkali-kali dengan garfu barulah saya
bersetuju untuk mengikutnya. Kami berjalan sejauh 120 kilometer kerana pasar
itu letaknya 128 kilometer dari rumah. Lagi 8 kilometer nak sampai pasar
saya ternampak sebuah lori kontena meluru dengan laju dari arah belakang.

Dia melanggar emak saya.. Emak saya tercampak ke dalam gaung. Dia menjerit
"Adoi!". Lepas itu emak saya naik semula dan mengejar lori tersebut. Saya
pun turut berlari di belakang emak saya kerana takut emak saya melanggar
lori itu pula. Pemandu lori itu nampak kami mengejarnya. Dia pun memecut
lebih laju iaitu sama dengan kelajuan cahaya. Kami pula terpaksa mengejar
dengan lebih laju iaitu sama dengan dua kali ganda kelajuan cahaya. Emak
saya dapat menerajang tayar depan lori itu. Lori itu terbabas dan melanggar
pembahagi jalan lalu bertembung dengan sebuah feri. Feri itu terbelah dua.

Penumpang feri itu yang seramai 100 orang semuanya mati. Pemandu feri itu
sangat marah. Dia pun bertukar menjadi Ultraman dan memfire pemandu lori.
Pemandu lori menekan butang khas di dalam lori dia..lori itu bertukar
menjadi robot Transformer. Mereka bergaduh di udara. Emak saya tidak puas
hati. Dia pun terus menyewa sebuah helikopter di Genting
Highlands dan terus ke tempat kemalangan. Dia melanggar pemandu feri yang
telah bertukar menjadi Ultraman itu.

Pemandu feri itu terkejut dan terus bertukar menjadi pemandu feri semula
lalu terhempas ke jalanraya. Pemandu feri itu pecah. Pemandu lori sangat
takut melihat kejadian itu. Dia meminta maaf dari emak saya.. Dia
menghulurkan tangan ingin bersalam. Tetapi emak saya masih marah. Dia
menyendengkan helikopternya dan mengerat tangan pemandu lori itu dengan
kipas helikopter. Pemandu lori itu menjerit "Adoi..!" dan jatuh ke bumi.
Emak say menghantar helikopter itu ke Genting Highlands. Bila dia balik ke
tempat kejadian, dia terus memukul pemandu lori itu dengan beg tangannya
sambil memarahi pemandu lori itu di dalam bahasa Inggeris.

Pemandu lori itu tidak dapat menjawab sebab emak saya cakap orang putih.
Lalu pemandu lori itu mati. Tidak lama kemudian kereta polis pun sampai. Dia
membuat lapuran ke ibu pejabatnya tentang kemalangan ngeri itu. Semua
anggota polis di pejabat polis itu terperanjat lalu mati. Orang ramai
mengerumuni tempat kejadian kerana ingin mengetahui apa yang telah terjadi.
Polis yang bertugas cuba menyuraikan orang ramai lalu dia menjerit
menggunakan pembesar suara. Orang ramai terperanjat dan semuanya mati.

Selepas itu emak saya mengajak saya ke pasar untuk mengelak lebih ramai
lagi yang akan mati. Di pasar, emak saya menceritakan kejadian itu kepada
penjual daging. Penjual daging dan peniaga-peniaga berhampiran yang
mendengar cerita itu semuanya terkejut dan mati. Saya dan emak saya terus
berlari balik ke rumah. Kerana terlalu penat sebaik saja sampai di rumah
kami pun mati. Itulah kemalangan yang paling ngeri yang pernah saya lihat
sebelum saya mati.

27 years have flown by, and it's worth noting that there are still some of us that has not changed one bit since high school. One of them is good ol' Rajen (not counting the hair). To be honest though, (and I'm sure you guys will agree with me) I dont want Rajen to change, as he's one of the few guys that constantly reminds us to not fuck ourselves over with everyday stress, and to have fun enjoying life while we still can.

for those who went for bbq last night at lam's place..hope u all had an awesome OMFLNG time..
it was cool simply because there was no 'pressure' applied during the entire session... well done everybody.hence that avoided a big major mishap that probably could happen yesterday if somebody applies pressure..

drinks was awesome.eugene's chicken thigh recipe was out of this world.me and lam's pig in blanket is totally Lan Ngang!!! lamb chop was mind blasting!!! everything was simply fantabulous.
awesome night with awesome friends,wish we can do it again in future with nick,jul and manveen together and hopefully eugene is around to monitor the preparation.

we manage to catch the fireworks from One Utama,The Curve and Hartamas area. talk about perfect location, openg is the place.to be precise..Lam's Crib!!!!!!!!!

did a reality show for Krafts and that brings me to sabah and sarawak...
with these 2 states..ive completed my jalan jalan round round malaysia quest. (screw brunei)
Discovered and Accepted lam's true self...deep inside him he's a gay...but u know we all la..we dun discriminate.
Started prawning.good sport :)
discovered 3 Card Poker. sweet
Bought tv,wii , bean bag and sofa for my room. awesome!
Completed 3 transformer season out of many cartoon Transformers.
Enlightened by Justin Ong's word of wisdom..never knew that he was so emotional and and deep...
had 6(6pint) glass of Hoegaarden @ Deutchess with 4 colleagues in 5 hours time. record breaking!
Wrap party @ Fidel's with 20+ chix after we finished shoot @ Sime Darby convention hall @ KLGCC...paid the bill @ almost 4k in cash... *not my money..it's the money we saved from the shoot...and until now workers there still respect us.. best
got a chance to work with Sebastian the photo freak!
manage to get Kumar and Jason Lam to help me out on a telemovie shoot.
Met Peter Schmeichel the legend..but i didnt felt HIS AWESOMENESS...maybe im not his fan..but screw that..i make a lot of Peter's fan JEALOUS!!!!!!!!

Like it says in the title, this happened in Taman Zaaba in Taman Tun Dr Ismail. My friend and I were supposed to meet there one night because we wanted to do some basketball training. I was running a lil late, so I was jogging down the road and taking a shortcut. As i was approaching the park, I saw my friend running towards me at full speed.

He was shouting "Wei Nick lari cepat! Ciao wei!!!" (Nick! Run! Get out of here!)

I got scared and immediately turned and started running too, back towards our school which was SMKTTDI.

When we reached the school area, we sat down, catching our breath.

I asked him "Weih apesal tadi??" (What happened just now??)
He replied "Nanti aku cakap.. Cepat balik rumah aku dulu wei.." (I'll tell you later.. Let's go back to my house first..)

So I got the hint and we started walking towards his house.

About 10 minutes later when we reached his house, he told me what happened.

He arrived at the park earlier than me. He was shooting some hoops while waiting for me to arrive. Then he decided to take a rest, so he sat down on a bench that was near a really big tree that's right next to the court. And all of a sudden he heard a cough. It was coming above him.

He looked up and he saw a man, dangling by his feet by a rope tied to the top of the tree. His tongue was hanging out and he was smiling widely at him.

Well I guess its not me alone it was us. Last night I went to sleep at 10.30pm... yeah now days I get up early and go to the gym before work. I got a text in the middle of the night not sure what time from Julian saying that I forgot this birthday 2 days ago !!!! OMG OMG OMG !!! Felt so bad that I forgot and after that I slept but it was at the back of my mind.

So I came early to work to type this HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIAN !!! message.

So you all know MJ is dead. Sedih when I was watching the news. Why could he not have stayed alive for 1 more month!!!! So am still going to London as I also booked a theatre and also to have some Malaysian food. More variety in London.

1st of all would like to thank all for the support.not for the blog but as friends.thanks for being there...no matter near or far.y'all is always round the corner for me.

and so the 2nd Episode aired 2 days ago.. and again,it was the most watched..the feeling is certainly dammm overwhelmed.lotsa friends and colleague called in to congratulate. finally it seems that what ever i've sacrificed in the past..seems to be worth the while.

i'm honoured and glad that im given the chance to produce the 1st ever reality shows revolving around a celebrity lifes. in msia we do have AF and other reality show. but none was concetrated specifically on an actor/actress life. did i mention that we're the 1st to cover Erra's baby girl exclusively? heheh..yeah. we're the 1st bunch of crew that filmed her way before anyone else in the filming industry.. rawking man.

prepping this whole reality show was a nightmare... though it seems that i've prep it for 2 months. but the real deal only came in 5days before the shoot.so planing the shoot and executing was nearly impossible cuz ive cramp 2 months worth of work into 5days. and i have to pull dam lots of strings just to get a certain sponsors and location.
but thank god it all went well. and i have this dam cool asst to help me out.if i can clone 5 of that fella. my life is sorted wei!!

so here' i am after 3 months of prepping and shooting the reality show. now i'm at APV doin editing for GuguGaga and prepping for my telemovie as well. Im goin back to shoot on this Sat until Thursday..this project oso very tough due to the budget and the time factor. giler man...my kepala wana meletup d!!!!!!!!!!!

My Best Man Speech at Eugene's wedding

With Nick's request, I give you my very rushed but humble speech that I gave at Eugene and Beatrice's wedding:

For those of you that don’t know me, I am Julian, and I’ve had the honor of being Eugene’s best man on this special day. It’s a blessing to be here for this truly amazing ceremony, and it’s even more special to be a part of it. Instead of 1 measly week, a little more notice of Eugene telling me I’m the best man would’ve been appreciated, so please do forgive me if this speech seems a little rushed.

First, I would also like to thank the bridal party for making things work today, and a special note goes out to Pastor Ray for being here today. Everything here today looks absolutely fabulous, and the wedding is going as smoothly as planned. Doesnt' everyone agree with me?

I’ve known Eugene since back in high school in a country far far away, and he’s amongst the close circle of friends we have. It wasn’t very hard for us to get along – there were hardly any non-Muslim students in our year, so all of us instantly had something in common – being able to drink and gamble legally.

Eugene was the one that’s always into sports. I remember on one occasion how our school did not have a basketball court and some of us wanted one badly, but the school kept giving the same old excuse of having a “lack of funds”. Eugene went the extra mile of getting a petition going and collecting donations for it, and he finally managed to raise enough money for a court. BUT, it was only built after we left high school, so Eugene never got to use it after all he did!

Eugene is very hardworking, patient, friendly, charismatic, *and loyal. Beatrice needn’t worry about him straying away; even then, and I’m sure she has her ways of ensuring that he doesn’t. He's the kind of guy that you'll want to stick around simply because he's not just the life of the party, but also leaves a lasting impression wherever he goes.

Isn’t it a must for me to talk about the opposite sex in my speech? Eugene always has had a thing for fair and pretty girls, and Beatrice definitely has the brains to match her beauty. Before he met her, he always picked out the prettiest girls in our school and told us that is his “target”. After a string of failed attempts at merely talking to them, he eventually gave up trying, and instead drooled at them during class. Looks like it worked out well for you in the end, didn’t it, Eugene?

Eugene’s very humble and can be a tad quiet to strangers, but when you get to know him better, you’ll realize that he’s quite talkative and adventurous. Being in the food service industry, he’s picked up some pretty good drinking skills – he was pretty pathetic back when we first discovered the joys of alcohol. He’s had his fair share of passing out, and being an active drunk. I won't divulge in his drunken antics here today, since I'm sure most of us has seen that part of him before!

[Note: i was going to say this, but i changed my mind at the last minute: I remember one occasion when all of us booked a hotel room at the Summit Hotel in KL where he took his leather belt off and started jumping on the bed and tried to whip us down with it. That night ended with him hugging the toilet bowl though, where he almost drowned in it (if you’re thinking about it – yes, THAT way). That would’ve been a pretty bad way to go… I bet he still has no recollection of that night!]

To wrap up, I’d like to say that marriage is not about finding someone you can live with, it’s about finding someone you can’t live without. Everyone please join me in a toast to the newlyweds, Eugene and Beatrice.

I have always been a great fan of British TV. TV programmes here have really opened my mind up as compared to the programmes we get back home which is basically what only the government wants you to know. People here really question things and thinking process rather critical. Example : Dispatches, Panorama etc. In fact it was one of the programmes about God Good, Bad and Evil that lead me to discover that I don't really need religion to tell me to do good things. Anyways that's my discovery journey.

Mark Dolan's programmes have always been of interest to me. He has a very subtle way of questioning different angles or aspects. This is what today's post from me is about. A Channel 4 programme 'The World and Me'- Broadcaster Mark Dolan meets children with mind-boggling mental capacities - but are these young geniuses a force of nature or the product of some intensive nurture?

Sometime this week, I received a text from someone telling me ''Watch this now Malaysian kid on Channel 4. Let me know what you think'.'
I missed the show as I was out but fear not there is always the watch online option. The next day at work Patrick my French friend who resides in Glasgow - very into the movie making scene sent me an msn saying ''Am watching Mark Dolan. Malaysian kid something not right.'' Since few folk had mentioned this few hours ago I sat down with my faithful laptop (btw President Obama and me have the same laptop !) and watched the show.

The show focused on 3 child prodigies an American girl, A Malaysian boy and A Singaporean boy.
I don't have much time as really guys I should be spending my weekends playing my WII so I will go on to write brief notes on this Malaysian boy : - Adi Putra. Go google he has his own site etc.

1. The kid has this professor friend agent who told Mark he can speak 8 languages.
What are they?
French, German, Bahasa Malaysia, then wait for it... British English, American English, Singaporean English.... As this point Mark went to say:

So Adi can say : - Can I have those trousers and can I have those pants ! LOL LOL Mark went on to say maybe someday he will speak Scottish English AYE !!!!!
- The truth is when Mark interviewed this kid he hardly could open his mouth.
His speech was not fluent ...gagap lots of ahhh ahhh ahhh ..... At this point I belive his French and German would be close to non existent. Compared to the American girl, the way Adi came across communication wise was just like any kid his age actually am sorry there quite a few kids his age who are much more fluent. I tell you all this kid could speak was MANGLISH !

2. Professor mentioned to Mark that Adi was not only a Maths genius but can also predict the future. He also has this whole marketing thing where Adi markets his brand name.
Adi tshirts, caps, even Adi smart pills for left and right brain. Hence Mark asks him: (not exact dialogue)

MARK: So you predict things etc. How do you come about these ideas?
ADI: AAAAhhhhh I dream about it then I wake up I tell my parents and sell the products. I had the idea when I was 8.
MARK: So you had the idea to make these smart pills that helps the brain in the middle of the night. Did you have the recipe for the pills or idea what goes in the pills?
ADI: Yes, Yes
MARK: So what goes in the pills? ..... (Wait for it.....)
ADI : I don't really remember it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahaHAHAHahhahahahahaha

This is when Marks politely comments It may have been the language barrier, ( How is this possible right since u speak like 30 types of English)but I am beginning to wonder if the real Adi is as potent as the myth that surrounded him.

MARK: Professor says you can predict the future- 6 sense. Is that right
ADI: Yes
MARK: What things you dreamt about?
ADI: I cant really remember
MARK: Can u tell me something that is going to happen in the world?
ADI: I don't remember but I know one day we will all die LOL LOL SERIOUSLY HAHAHAHAH

Mark was frustrated. This poor kid was made sales gimmick by people around him! I feel sad for the kid. The kid has Mathematical abilities I give him that but his other claims well am sure this one you can figure out for your self. This is where I find programmes here most impressive. They seek, they question, they critically think and most importantly you the viewers can decide.

OH the main highlight is : RAJEN YES OUR VERY OWN DADDY was the guide for the UK crew. Not sure guide or what Rajen correct me if I'm wrong. I was jumping up and down when I could see side view of Rajen walking in with the crew.
WHOO HOO glamour on UK tv ! So I rang him like 3 times. Bad line. AFter some time, he rang me back we had a brief chit chat about this and well I said to Rajen ''I cant believe it you met MARK DOLAN !! am such a fan of his.''

first off..i want to thanks all tigers and friends for comin to HASH CLUB...
hope u all had a good time cuz i was blown away..
back there we did a few good rounds of karaoke..looking forward for the next session. yudhis,din,fua they sang some songs..that's a rare sight..hope it will not be the last.

This dude used to be based here in Malaysia.. used to play for bands like Cosmic Funk Express , One Buck Short ( some featuring thinggy ar..) .. then i heard that he went back to Korea to serve in their 'national service' ...

He's also quite 'famous' in youtube among the guitar people... that's because this fella can really do a 2 hand tapping on 2 freaking guitar at the same time.. and play beautiful stuff... check his youtube channel...
